It seems like everyone from the 80s is re-forming their original group or remastering their CDs with bonus tracks and video. Why should Spandau Ballet or Men at Work be any different? Yes, I�ve spent more money on newly remastered 80s CD that I�ve had in my collection since their original release on vinyl! I have to say that True was not Spandau Ballet�s best CD though and I only hope they follow suit with the rest of the pack and remaster the entire catalogue. True is good, don�t get me wrong, I just liked Parade better and whenever I hear �Only When You Leave� I must break it out and listen to it. I�m still on my search for anything INXS I can get my hands on. I have more than the average fan but I�m looking for some of the b-sides and remixes that I don�t have. I�m making a killer box set for my cousin for Birthday/Christmas. They�ve only remastered the first 3 and the middle 3 and now they need to get on it and remaster the 3 before Kick.
Tammy, Rod, and I spent our night in the seedy porn district of Denver in search of the House of Morecock. We ended up in Virgin at the end of the night because I�d seen it there before but like everyone else they�ve toned things down. I was feeling so tired when I went home I was having trouble focusing on the road and it wasn�t even 10:00 yet. I�m getting old. Today I feel like I�ve been hit by a truck. I think the bug that�s been after me for a while has finally succeeded, which explains why I was so tired last night after a 3 hour nap. My cough is back with a vengeance and that�s making my head hurt. Listen to me, I am an old man. DIVA! got up before me this morning and was chirping away waiting for me to get my sorry ass down there and give her some fresh water and food. I think I�m going to take a shower and get some juice and soup at the store and see if I feel better after a nap or two.
Why is it that this year is already flying by but the weekends never come fast enough and never last long enough? I think the next holiday is July 4th and that seems ages away. I�m still irritated about the gay marriage issue but it�s nice to see that many more states are trying to stick it to the man. Okay I need to get some juice and soup and get back into bed, not in that order.
